hullabaloo

 two saturdays ago was the flagstaff hullabaloo.  we had heard a lot about it being the best festival in flagstaff and we were planning on going.  that morning luke was headed to work later than usual and was stressing about how he'd get all of his stuff done.  he left on his bike and a few seconds later called saying "get the kids in the bike trailer and meet me, i'm in a bike parade!"

 ha!  so i did and we did and we caught the last half of the bike parade.  

 the parade is the first event of the festival so everyone was excited and dressed up.

later that evening we met up with friends and family and walked down the street to the hullabaloo. 

 ruby wore a tutu for the first time in her life and was super cute.

mateo loved the hula hoops.

 

we listened and danced to sergio mendoza y la orkestra.  at the end of the night as i was chatting with friends, we realized all of our husbands and babies were on stage with them.  super fun day.  next year we are planning on starting with the bike parade and hanging out all day.
