
my first quiche. thank you, mark bittman.
i followed his recipe for onion quiche, and added broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, basil and sharp cheddar along with the onion. despite it taking much longer to make than indicated (a combination of me being a super slow cook and our oven being a slow oven i guess?) and the bottom crust being a little soft, it was great!
we all loved it so much, especially reheated on day 2. mateo went crazy for it. i think i will try to make another this week to get more practice.

This looks incredible! Way to go! I LOVE quiche and would love to make one... I'm afraid I'm just too lazy, though :)
ReplyDeleteNot surprised at all Mateo loved it - the broccoli bread thing he ate at my house was pretty similar. Isn't quiche ridiculously easy and fab? Mark isn't a big egg fan, but I used to make them often. Now I'm feeling inspired again.
